A year in Adelaide.

This project ran from April 2017 to April 2018, my initial plan was to take a panorama each week as way of honing my panoramic compositional skills. Initially I thought to get a ‘set’ of twelve’ , in the end I had just shy of 80 pictures, many of which are on this page. It proved a time consuming but rewarding project. I found that living and working in the city  allows me an opportunity to pick a 'decisive' moment of when to take the image.

I consciously chose a vibrant 'postcard' aesthetic for this series, which reflects some of my initial thoughts about the city as a visitor destination.  Part of the challenge has been to find those colourful moments throughout the year. The album seems to surprise the locals more than visitors. I guess the locals see their city differently.
